Here is the latest project from my sewing table - something pretty and easy!
My Aunt Kay cleaned out her fabric stash and sent it to her sewing relations. When I saw these blocks left over from a quilt, I couldn't pass them up - the fabrics were so pretty!
To
gether with a few other scraps from the stash, there was just enough to make a tiny dress - with hardly any left over!
The fabric was so nice to work with and the pattern was as simple as can be, which made it such a fun project!
This is
definitely a dress I'll make again, just for the simple joy of it. I can't wait to see how it looks with the bright swatches I have!
Thank you Aunt Kay for sharing! Now, what shall I make next . . .

the 3rd and last two pics are adorable of Alaina...You certainly know how to "capture" a moment! Cute dress too! :) Sue
My girls saw the first pic of her laying on teh blanket in the grass and Faith said, "She looks like an angel!" So sweet!

What a fun project for those left over swatches... and it just matches my quilt. :) Aunt Kay
Such an adorable dress! Thanks for sharing. Alaina is a doll. :-)
Thank you for sharing such sweet pictures! Good job on the dress - very little-girly feminine! And of course Alaina makes a adorable little-girl model. :)
Hi Gretchen. I need to get your email. This'll have to do, eh? Just to let you know, Children's Place in Tuscola has leggings and bike shorts marked 50% off...they were 4.99. Lots of different colors. Anyhoo...just wanted to pass that along.
