Our New Arrival

Stephen Christopher!

Our little boy surprised us all by arriving ten days early after three and a half hours of labor!

August 2nd, 2010 at 1:00am

Our little peanut is just
7 lbs. and 18 inches tall.

He seems so tiny!

Stephen means "Crowned".

Christopher means "Christ-bearer".

He's sleeping and eating wonderfully, and hasn't fussed all that much yet. He is very strong and so alert! He'll be up looking around for an hour at a time, just taking it all in! Alaina is being very sweet with him, and loves to kiss his head.

We are rejoicing in the safe arrival of our newest treasure. God has done all things well!

He is adorable!! Congratulations to all of you! Nothing amazes me like the birth of a child. That awe and excitement of God's work is so beautiful. Enjoy your snuggling. (I'll work on my envy issues. =))

PS - love the new "boy" blog look!

Awww! Congrats to all of you! I was so excited the other morning when George buzzed back into our bedroom before he left to show me the picture Kyle sent. It was 5am and I couldn't go back to sleep :) He does look so tiny! Wish we lived closer to come see him. I haven't held a teeny-tiny baby in what seems like forever! Hope you're recovering well and I'm sure with your mom and sister there, you're getting lots of TLC :)

Hey, I was re-looking at your pictures and back at ones of Alaina to see if she and Stephen look similar. Maybe you can see similarities in real life that arent in pictures, but Stephen sure looks like he has a different nose, mouth and chin than his big sis...and lighter hair :) So fun to see different combos of the same parents! I'm curious what our new baby will look like. All I can picture is another Grace :)
