However, our little girl (or boy, gender was decided weeks ago at conception), has already done a lot of growing! Her (or his) heart has been beating for several weeks already, all of her major joints are functional (shoulder, knees, elbow, wrists and ankles) and her fingers and toes are already growing tiny nails! All this, and much more, while she is still less than 2 inches in size.
Amazing.

It's such a miracle! So you're sailing right into the 2nd trimester now, eh? How many weeks are you now, 12 or 13? You'll look back at this picture and be amazed at how much you stretch out! Fun to compare now and as you and Baby grow!
