ICHE Convention

Well, we had a great time at the State Convention! I didn't take many pictures, but here's what I have:

Alaina did extremely well, although she was completely overwhelmed for at least the first day. She got to meet lots of new friends and was well entertained at all times. Here she is with her new friend Amber Marie. She spent most of her time with Amber teaching her how to spit. So much for lady-like! I guess that comes later. ;-)

Between sessions, we got to visit with Nanna at "The Brain". The workshops were wonderful! You can read some of my notes at ICHE.org . We got the MP3s, and I can't wait to dig in! There were so many things I didn't get to hear that I wanted to.

Could it be that Kyle looks just a bit tired? I wonder why that could be?

Now you know! It's hard work pushing your lazy wife around all the time! (Auntie Kay, I missed you. The stroller was wonderful!) Actually, he did help out quite a bit with all the clean up. We both came home tired but recharged from all the encouragement and wonderful fellowship!

Gretchen, It was good to see you and meet Alaina at the convention. She is even more adorable in person. And hey, spitting is an important skill that you need for watermelon seeds and cherry pits. :0)
Love, Lisa C.

We so much wished that it would have worked out to come for the convention, maybe next year! Thanks for the pictures, it's the next best thing :)

Oh, that Alaina is a girl after every grandma's heart! Look at her! She appears to be spitting in the pic with her friend Amber! What a riot! See, as grandmamas and grandma-wanna-bes, we find such behavior absolutely adorable! If this is the only thing that she does in her life to embarass you, you will have a lot to be thankful for! Sue

That stroller is awesome! You won't believe the antique thing I pushed around and there was no room to put anything! Not if you wanted to put the baby in there. It even has cup holders! Glad you had a good time.

I missed you guys too. But I needed to give my replacements the opportunity to succeed without me! I loved the picture on the ICHE website of Aunt Karilyn with Alaina. Love Aunt Kay
