By Request

Here is an updated mommy-picture. Now that Matthew has taught me how to use the timer on my camera, it makes it a little easier to do presentable self portraits. Yesterday on my lunch break I went out on the deck and snapped a picture.

Later in the day I started having fun. Anyone who knows photography could tell you that I'm not particularly good, but I like to look at what others have done for inspiration beyond my normal snapshot. They may not quite achieve the artistic look, but at least they're more interesting! And while they're definitely not professional quality, my Budget loves them. ;-)

Kyle says this doesn't look like me, but it's the best shot of my "baby bump".

We're at 24 weeks, or thereabouts. Little Miss seems to be quite energetic, she usually engages in some aerobic activity around bedtime - or maybe that's just when I'm still enough to really notice it! He movement has been pronounced enough for Kyle to feel though. What a treat that is!

P. S. My Hubby made the frame, and he says I'm holding it backwards! I liked that side too. ;-)

Hi Gretchen~

How fun...were all those self portraits? We love the timer button on our camera, too. I can't believe you're 24 weeks already! Being a NICU nurse, I was anxious to pass that mark :) Actually, I was 24wks at Christmas and we came home and set up Eva's crib for Gracie around then. Do you have anything up yet? Are you doing a nursery or will the baby be in your room? Are you guys throwing around any names yet? It took us forever to decide on a name because we liked too many :) Hopefully we will be able to come up with one sooner so that the baby seems more like a little person rather than an "it" See you soon~ Krista

P.S. if you're ever up here and are coming downtown, call us!

Cute pictures, Gretchen. You look adorable! Babies do tend to move more when you lie down at night. I think it is that we are finally still and so you notice it more.
Have you picked a name yet?
